Context on the Role
The Sales & Partnerships Specialist plays a crucial role in expanding CreditBook’s reach by building strategic partnerships with B2B businesses that work with SMEs, such as distributors, suppliers, retailers, and digital platforms. By integrating CreditBook’s financing solutions into their ecosystem, these partners offer fast, flexible financing to their SME clients, bridging the gap between small businesses and the capital they need to grow.
The primary goal for this role is to tap demand for SME financing through partnerships, scaling sales and revenue.
How You'll Make an Impact
In this role, you’ll own partnerships and SME sales, managing the full lifecycle—from prospecting to onboarding and scaling. As a key driver of CreditBook’s mission, your work will directly impact business growth and SME access to financing.
- Identify & Acquire Partners – Research, prospect, and build relationships with B2B businesses that can offer CreditBook’s financing to their SME clients.
- Pitch & Close Deals – Communicate the value of CreditBook’s financing solutions in compelling ways, negotiate agreements, and secure partnerships that drive mutual growth.
- Onboard & Enable – Seamlessly integrate our financing solutions into partner ecosystems, ensuring a smooth experience for SMEs.
- Manage Relationships and Operational Execution: Strengthen relationships with key partners, take ownership of operational challenges and optimize go-to-market strategies for success.
- Drive Growth & Performance – Monitor key metrics, identify scaling opportunities, and collaborate internally to maximize impact.
- Optimize & Innovate – Work cross-functionally (Finance, Product, Data, Engineering, and Design) to improve operations, enhance processes, and drive efficiency for users.
- Shape the Strategy – Play an active role in drawing insights and evolving CreditBook’s sales and partnership approach, in line with industry trends, market needs and competitor movements.
What We’re Looking For
- B2B Sales & Partnerships Experience – 2-3 years in sales or partnership management, ideally working with SMEs; financial services experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong Communicator – Clear, confident, and persuasive in pitching, managing relationships, and collaborating across teams and leadership.
- Proactive & Self-Driven – Takes initiative, operates independently, and experiments to drive results without constant oversight.
- Problem-Solver in Uncertainty – Thinks independently, makes informed decisions with incomplete information, and tackles challenges head-on.
- Hands-On & Operationally Agile – Comfortable executing on the ground, adapting quickly, and ensuring seamless partnership implementation in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-Driven & Metrics-Focused – Skilled at tracking key performance metrics, analyzing data, and using insights to optimize partnerships and sales strategies.
- Financial Acumen – Understanding of financial products (e.g., credit scoring, interest, accruals, compounding, Shariah-compliant financing) is a strong plus.
- Adaptable & Collaborative – Thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments and works well with diverse teams.
