About the role:
We’re looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team, developing server-side applications using Java Spring Boot in a collaborative, agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled engineers and grow your technical expertise in a fast-paced, learning-driven workplace.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java Spring Boot 
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-level systems 
- Write, execute, and maintain unit tests using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock 
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and optimize data storage 
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to deployment automation using Docker and Kubernetes 
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in design and development 
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and leads to deliver high-quality solutions 
- Follow version control standards using Git and maintain clear documentation throughout development 
What We Are Looking For:
- Up to 3 years of experience with Java 8 or above 
- Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts 
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security 
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation 
- Familiarity with markup languages such as JSON and YAML 
- Understanding of microservices architecture, UML, and design patterns 
- Experience with AWS (ECS, ECR, RDS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3) is preferred 
- Knowledge of code quality and security tools (SonarQube or Fortify) is preferred 
- Knowledge of stateless application development is preferred
